I will be teaching two workshops this winter at the Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. One of the special aspects of the museum is that is is home to the Manske Camellia Garden which showcases over 120 varieties of camellias. This is what inspired me to start painting them.

This is my second year offering a Painting Camellias in Watercolor Workshop. While watercolor can be a challenging medium, I will teach you the basic skills to create more successful botanical watercolor paintings. All supplies are included

I have taught watercolor painting for the past 20 years at Savannah College of Art and Design in nearby Savannah, Georgia. I am a certified botanical watercolor painter and recently was honored to become a British Botanical Society of Artists International Fellow Member. I am one of two only two Americans to have received this honor for 2026.
